William J. Baird III

Bill’s practice is focused on General Civil Practice. Bill is a graduate of Pikeville College (now University of Pikeville) where he received his B.S. Degree in 1966. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky in 1969. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in October 1969. Bill served two years in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971. Bill is very active in the community. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Pikeville where he has served as a trustee for 27 years. Bill has also been a coach for Pikeville High School and University of Pikeville Women’s Softball teams. He is Board Chairman of Westcare of Kentucky, Inc., which is involved in treatment of substance abuse. He is active in his Church where he has served as an Elder, Deacon and Teacher. Bill is a member of the Pike County and Kentucky Bar Associations.
