David L. Baird

David’s concentration of practice is Mineral and Environmental Law, Real Property Transactions and Litigation, Bankruptcy, Insurance Defense, Administrative Law and General Practice. David is a graduate of Miami University (OH) where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance in 2002. He received his Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2005. David was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2005. David is a member of the Pike County Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Pikeville Medical Center, the Pike County / City of Pikeville Airport Board and The Elliott Company. David is also involved in several charities including serving on the Board of Directors for Sandy Valley Habitat for Humanity from 2007 until the present, the Board of Directors of Community Economic Development and Revitalization (CEDAR) from 2009 until the present, and as a member of the Pikeville Rotary Club from 2006 until the present, serving on its Board of Directors beginning in 2014. David and his wife Lisa live in Pikeville with their son and two daughters. They are also active members of the Pikeville United Methodist Church.
